Your attacking AV is actually a bit light for a Manila attack, not bad at all.

Congrats on taking those down! It's a nice bit of change as far as the VP are concerned. Have you taken Singapore yet?

Also... the quoted part is not what I want to hear right now, as I landed in Lingayen and am currently working on Clark Field. It's week two in my game.

Singapore was a pain to capture in my game.

It depends really, if your opponent decides to defend Manila and not Bataan, you are in for a long drawn out fight. If you face only the units that start there, 1 Division is enough to take it. Against the AI, I can usually have control of Manila by Mid-January...PBEM, if your opponent moves all his AV to Manila, with it being a city hex, you pretty much have to starve it into submission.
