Hello, after reading the most recent suggestions on the forum i didnt find the following (sry if there is already someone that suggested this somewhere) :

Possibility to choose the start position in map editor (example: i create a huge map and want to start in a preset position instead of random)
Dunno if its possible but would be cool imo as i like playing on player made maps (custom maps) rather than random star placement and not being able to choose a starting position kinda sux.

thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. You can do this by making a scenario. Just copy the 12 races scenario xml file from the scenarios\campaign folder to your own folder "MyDocuments\My Games\Armada 2526\Scenarios\Campaign", rename it to mycampaign.xml (or whatever) and edit the starting star names in the file.

Making a full scale scenario designer would be a lot of work, but making a simpler way to create scenarios that just redefine start positions is worth thinking about.
