I've seen similar in the past.
Usually on APD's and AP's.

You'll never get them off.

You'll need the save from the turn before that ship was loaded to be useful.

Don can verify that.

What version are you playing. There was an error with underflow but I believe it was fixed in patch 3 and should be in the beta.

If you are playing patch 3 beta, then please post a save (the one before) along with details on what was done.

I'm patched up to Beta three, if you see it was save under diff, version it's because I made minor changes to databasa.
Interesting, on May 23, 42, the AKE at Darwin has 509 supplies, on 5/24/42 in is overloaded. I never ordered it to take on supplies. I have BB Ramilles coming into port having expended some big gun ammo. I have it ordered to fuel refuel and auto disband. It appears to have replenished from the AKE (the AKE uses 620 ops points). The turn I noticed it was on 5/25/42.

I will zip and post 5/23 and 5/24

This is my version:

There is an error here. It relates to an ammo ship that has enough supply to partially but not fully rearm a given weapon. Logic was added some time ago to allow partial rearming in this circumstance but it has a nasty little hole in it.

I sent the AKE off on a suicide mission and sent another to replace it. No big deal for me, just letting you know.

Does this render the overloaded AKE's useless?

I've had this problem on my AE's over the last couple of days (using the latest patch). Unloading doesn't work, but I've had some luck getting them to fix themselves by having them load supply.

Adding to this older thread. I'd guess that your answer above means it's in the next patch/hotfix?

I just ran into this, also at Darwin, oddly. An AE and an AKE, both disbanded in port, both with about 2500 in supply. Could not re-load any BBs. Pulled each AE/AKE out into a new Support TF to load supplies to full, and each one appeared in the TF with negative 65000 and change in supply. (One is 65524-, and the other is 65020-) I assume they're different because they had different amounts of positive supply loaded when I pulled them into the TF.

I'm playing post-Patch 3, AI game, started under Patch 1.

Darwin has Southwest Pac HQ, Level 6 Port, 120 Naval Suppport, and about 200k in supplies. When I try to reload a BB, all by itself in a Surface TF with the odd AE and AKE disbanded, I get a message that there are not sufficient Ops Points, even though I haven't done anything else at Darwin that turn. I suppose it doesn't "see" the AE or AKE there.

I tried to disband and reform, transfer into a new Support TF with just a DD in it, and to unload the supply. Nothing works.

Anyway, just wanted to bring this up.

I just found an AKE in Cam Ran Bay with 62,000 supply. Apparently it "loaded up" sometime in the last few turns. What's the best way to get out of this situation?

I have complete turn saves if you want them.

I'm seeing the same thing with Japanese ADs. I checked out the Japanese side of my AI game and two of the ADs had over 56K supplies on them. I couldn't unload them.

I have no solution. I have 5 of 10 AKE/AEs in this situation.

I started a thread in the general forum to see how many folks have disabled ammo ships and either knew and are managing, or didn't know.

I wonder if Matrix could write a small utility for saves or a running game that would check and fix game corruption?  Sort of a health check of the game. It could be run when something is found or say monthly to try to keep game corruption from snowballing.

Just load supplies onto the AKE (AE, AD, whatever). That's always worked for me.

It doesn't really have the 56K or 62K or whatever. I assume it's an underflow problem and it actually went negative.
