As we go into the final week of NASCAR's Fall season it looks like Hendrick's Hereos, like Jimmy Johnson, has a commanding lead of nearly 100pts. THe fall season win will give him 10 Championship points. Mickey's and Toe out are only seperated by 28 points, so the second and third places are still in play. I came back in the fall with a solid 4th place and Little Guitars is in 5th with a 40+ point cushion, but a bad day could leave him out of the points.

It is sort of academic though, since if Toe Out can take second from Mickey's, he will win the championship outright with 11 points. If Toe Out remains in third, then there will be a tie for first with Hendrick's Heroes and Toe Out each with 10, and Toe out with 7 total wins on the season winning on the tie breaker (HH has 5 wins so with a win today could only have 6). However with a commanding Full season points lead of nearly 250, HH should take the prize for total season points.

SO it looks like, barring some major calamity, that Toe Out and Hendrick's Heroes will be our Fantasy NASCAR winners for 2009.

Toe out gets the points to take the championship outright with a second place finish and 3 points, for a season total of 11. Hendrick's Heroes gets the season race points total.

Thanks to all that played all year long. I was nevous the last 5 weeks I didn't know if I could hold on.

Had a good time and hopefully we can play next year.

Slightly different format as last year, One Game to the Full Year winner, and one to the Season winner (spring, summer, or Fall) who has the highest season score. (so you can win with long term consistency, or a really good season segment. If the Year winner is also the highest season winner, then the season segment win will go to the next highest season winner.

Looking like there will be no Fantasy Nascar this year. We need at least 8. If there are noot 8 by Saturday I am going to cancel it. Its pretty easy each week yo pick 8 drivers and based on how they qualify yo use 4 in he race. THe rub is you n't use a driver more than 9 times over the season.
