A Button who says: "Transfer All the Pilots in this squadron to the Pool"

I just had to manually transferor 400 Pilots now as their School time is over and the "School" squadrons now should start training new classes of pilots.
The Pilot Consumption has been very low, so the surplus is very high atm, they cant sit in the school squadrons after they are fully educated because it is better to clear this squadrons for frech personnel to also get field training.. so.. a button "Transfer All the Pilots in this squadron to the Pool"
would be nice..

while I wouldn´t have use for an "all pilots to the pool button" because I transfer them when they reach 70 of the requested skill (and usually not my whole squadron does this at the same time) I would already be glad to delete the "send pilot on holiday for 180 days button" (because I doubt that anyone really is using this anyway - how hardcore do you have to be if you use it?) and replace the right mouse button click with "send pilot to pool". That way you would not need to set the pilot on "reserve", then click on the pilot AGAIN and press "Y" to send him to the general reserve.

Hehe first I thought CT´s response was a classic thread hijack.

But he is right I think.

If you transfer all pilots to the pool thats the same as disbanding the squadron. I don´t think changing this is doable because if implemented
you get squadrons with planes but no pilots.
The solution Castor Troy proposed looks like an interesting compromise. I still wonder what the benefit of sending a pilot to squadron reserve
instead of general reserve is anyway.

P.Hausser, it's a pain, indeed. Now I do the following: instead of clicking 500 or 600 times in one turn, I say: "let's send all the ready pilots --specific skill around 60-- of only ONE squadron". One per turn.

I agree with the above comments. Send all pilots to general reserve is NOT the solution, and I hope they don't do that, because I - and many others would be screwed In my opinon, the solution is 1) SELECT pilots and 2) send SELECTED pilots to reserve, etc., etc. Because I NEVER send all the pilots to the reserve pool. I always keep at least 5 pilots (with specific skill above 65) in the "training" squadrons. Then I request rookies, rinse and repeat. These 5 skilled pilots in theory help.

I agree with assigning selected pilots to the pool and removing 180 days as well. By the way, are devs planning to do something with pilot management?
If one thing in AE needs to be improved it is GUI.

The game in general would probably benefit from a "select stuff then apply an operation to all the selected stuff" GUI model.  This is a pretty standard GUI "design pattern" these days.

Unfortunately, just from looking at the game I expect this would be pretty difficult to do generally without huge code changes and potentially introducing lots of bugs.  Perhaps something to hope for in a new game.
