Now that looks cool.

Of course it's cool. Snow usually is ...

As the great Dixie once said, everyone's a comedian.

Sorry, I don't know any 'great' Dixie. I know one that's pretty good in his own right, but GREAT?

1. Territory of Jefferson became Colorado with smaller parts going to bordering states (Utah and Nebraska if I remember right)

2. Kaskaskia is a small town in south IL.

3. The Mason Dixon Line was surveyed around 1764-65 by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon due to a border dispute. It later became the dividing line between North and South. *I did look up Mason and Dixon in my American History Almanac.

More Trivia

Why does Missouri have a boot?

Alright lets see for the box question western states used the township and range surveying system which marked out land in squares. Umm I don't know that the 2nd question answer is. Missouri has a boot because the planter John Hardeman Walker convinced congress that the land there should go to Missouri and not Arkansas because it was similar in terrain to the Missouri area's near it.

Big Brother will trace the browsing history for sure. It seem what is looked at is the lengh of time. I would gladly add some slang, insults or bad words here for Big Brother, but i seem to remenber it is a "familly forum" here .
A collegue has already had an advertising (ah damn , that is not the right word, but can't find it); what is funny/cynical/disgusting/revolting/annoying is that it is absolutely ILLEGAL in France if the workers are not individually informed that they are spied. But anyway, it can be just "told" by Big brother to threaten them;
i (hopefully) know my rights, but anyway, avoiding trouble with Big Brother is usually better.
And now disapearing till maybe tonight.
Bye

North/South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas are all 3 degrees high. Colorado. Wyoming and Montana are all 4 degrees high
Correct on Missouri
The Four states all were make because of the gold, Kansas did not want the riffraff.
