Hello all, i'm a newbie player, i've had the game for cca 3 months. I'd like to try out myself playing a pbem game. I'm searching a beginner/intermediate player who have the intention to play a short/medium lenght scenario like operation nordwind or sicily 43.

If you're in, send me a mail, my address: andras(dot)pongo(at)gmail(dot)com. I"m calculating with 3-4 turns in a week. If you have better suggestions wich scenario would be better to play, tell me in the mail!

P.S.: I'm eagerly waiting for playing a game with a human player, not with Elmer :) So i'll not disappear in the middle of the game, i'll not surrender if i'm standing to loose (practice makes perfect), i want simply to play!

Haenilion dude:

I hope you find an opponent.  PBEM is a whole new world compared to playing against the PO.  And by the way, you may want to reconsider putting your email in the clear like that.  I'd use something like this:  andras(dot)pongo(at)qmail(dot)com        or something like that.  There are programs ( bots ) that comb through the web looking for email addresses so as to be able to spam them.  Just a thought.

Hello Larry!

Thanks for your advice, i corrected my address. I've been reading your AARs since I registered on this forum. They're very interesting and instructive. Keep up the good work
