There are other kinds of days there? I'd pretty much assumed that your base was the solitary noisemaker in the area.

I thought Dixie was the solitary noisemaker in the area.

Safely in the northern part of Sweden after my little 600 mile trip.

Now off to the bunk so I can do the reverse trip tomorrow with my old folks.

G'night gents

Does 600 miles with your parents get better when youre an adult as opposed to when you were a kid?

600 miles with my parents was ok. Only difference is that it was now my turn to tell them how far we had left to go.

Drive went ok both directions. You could really see the effects of all those cancelled flights - lots of rental cars and buses on the road.

Arrived up north 10.30 pm yesterday. Had 6 hrs sleep before going up at 5.30 am to start the return trip (06.30). Took 11 hrs so we arrived here in Stockholm 17.30. 1.5 hrs later, we went to a theatre to see a music show I had given as a christmas present to my parents. Just came back ...

I fell like a wrung out rag right now. Off to bed - G'night gents

He doesn't. Filet mignon is taken from the tenderloin. Ribeye comes from the "beef rib".

And , oh by the way , it was wonderful! Next week's steak night, I think filet mignon. !

Heh? Just pointing out that the two cuts are from the SAME region of the cow. It's all about how you butcher and trim it.

See that nice little circular hunk of meat in the ribeye? That's the filet. Same piece of meat, cut differently.

Ordinarily, I'd side with a human on this, but the Martian is right on that. On most Ribeye steak cuts, a portion of the ribeye on a side of the bone is a cross section of filet.

And she trusts an alien (and likely an illegal one ) to do her cooking? She has a lot of faith in your capacity to understand entirely foreign concepts. What is it exactly that you eat on Mars? Rocks?
