Status: offline 		Ok, so, I took the plunge and got DW...and then my computer went totally tango uniform before I could install it. It's been out of commission for two weeks now while I wait on a new motherboard. But I'm sitting here and I just realized maybe I could put it on my Linux Ubuntu machine and run it under Wine. Has anyone tried that?

Hmmm...well, I'll just have to try it out and see then...I'm a bit of a noob at linux, but, well, the best way to learn is to just dive right in I suppose...

Status: offline 		The only OS I know of is windows sadly. Wish I could help but I have no idea. Not even shure what you are talking about. All I can say is try it and good luck. If you have problems, go the tech suppor section and ask for help there.

Status: offline 		I have a PC with Ubuntu Karmic and Windows 7 installed, and I use the latter exclusively for gaming so I didn't even try to run DW on Wine. After seeing your question I gave it a try and nope, the Autorun works but the game itself doesn't. The loading screen doesn't appear, not even an error message, it just "thinks" for five seconds then stops. It probably has something to do with DW's weird fullscreen mode, my first guess was that Wine wouldn't like it at all.

There should be some way to get it to run, but I don't know much about Wine anyway, so I don't want to tinker with it. Maybe you'll have better luck on the Ubuntu forums.

Status: offline 		I would be interested in seeing if this works on macs using wine. Wine is great for playing PC games on linux or mac. I just wish .net worked on wine.....

Status: offline 		The issue probably would be because DW is written with .NET coding, so any OS (or emulator) that isn't able to handle .NET properly will not be able to run DW
