Hmmm thanks for this beauty nyarlathotep. For those that are used to me complaining about wanting this that or the other thing in a computer game (and are currently picking their jaws up off the floor), this game gets a thumbs up from Les. Now that is not to say that just because I say it, that it automatically makes it computer gaming perfection (well I like to think that people wait on my opinions with baited breathe hehe). But we all know how hard I am to please. We all know if your tactical game looks like ASL you get a compliment from me. So to follow up on my first game demo of Strategic Command that I played (I was playing as Allied), this game is my idea of A3R on the computer (A3R = Advanced Third Reich). No of course it isn't really A3R anymore than Steel Panthers is really ASL. But for those that remember the actual Third Reich software release, this game is not that game at all (it actually looks like I will be putting it on my christmas list (who knows, right now it is in first lace eh). Battlefront.com is going to be seeing more of me soon. For those that have been watching the "Decline of Wargaming" poll, its time to stop pondering. There is NO decline if people are producing games like this. This game is maybe a step back to some, but hey, hex lovers rejoice, this game looks like are beloved board games with a very user friendly interface. And another nice perk, it likes Windows XP (Pro in my case maybe that makes a difference here). I played a full game (well I played till France got trashed and then decided I had seen my needs met in assessing it). Now all I have to do is wait for it to hit the market (no I don't pre order anything, I will buy it not a second before it is on actually on sale). They are taking pre orders for you folks that do that sort of thing, hope they don't spend long getting it out there though.
