since more and more of us, especially over at Blitz ladder, are switching over to playing SPWAW H2H.
I was wondering, who that was that created the PBEM helper program, and If they could get it to work with H2H??
Thanks
Alby

Alby I already have the PBEM helper program loaded on main Matrix Games download page under misc, it can be set up to use any game that uses PBEM, it has directions for setting it up for any game not currently listed in the current supported section. Here are the instruction for setting up games not currently built into PBEM helper.

ADDING SUPPORT FOR OTHER PROGRAMS
Adding support to other games is relatively easy. Just select Options / Modify installed programs. You need the following information:

The short game name (e.g. SPWAW).

The full game name (e.g. Steel Panthers: World At War)

Executable name (e.g. MECH.EXE).

Possible e-mail subfolder name (e.g. EMAIL or PBEM).

Possible registry settings ([HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Steel_Panthers_World_At_War]). It may be possible to find out the installation directory from these registry settings.

If the program requires that a CD is in drive, the CD label.

Names of PBEM save files (e.g. email2.cmt, email2.dat, email2.aux, email2.rec).

I Installed another version of PBEM manager to cover my second SP version with H2H. It's a little tricky but seems less confusing than another post.

Please tell me where there are other players for H2H.

How much HD space require H2H mod?

Now I'm low on fuel (in Megabyte) and I need to know the full size of SPH2H before installing.

Thankyou.

Unfortunately roughly the same amount of space as the regular SPWAW.

I don't know what H2H is, but basically "File Pattern" is the pattern for the primary game file, in case of SPWAW it should be *.CMT. Command Line option does not work with SPWAW, leave it as empty. Description should be TRIM.

SPWAW has four file types:

CMT (primary, required)
DAT (modified, checksame, required)
AUX (checksame)
REC (checksame)

Thanks Fuerte!
H2H is Panzer Leos mod for SPWAW (SPWAW Head to Head)
Many of us have started playing it instead of the "basic" SPWAW
OOBS seem "cleaner" armor conflict seems better, and alot more!!
You should check it out, I think youll find it very good indeed!!
:)

I think H2H will be available over at the Blitz soon.
The final update is being worked on.
Right now H2H is not on any site, it was but, the site ran into technical difficukties.
