Moderately experienced WiTP/AE player looking for similar experienced opponent for AE Game, Scen 1 or 2. I have a WitP game in 11/42 still going as the allies and a AE game in 02/42 as Japan. Would like to start an AE game as allies. I can do at least 1 turn per day, more on most weekends.

I prefer a more historical game but am open to whatever. Would prefer an opponent with a long term committment - have been in several games in both AE and WitP that didnt work out for one reason or another.

Suggested House rules.
Restricted units must pay PPs to cross land borders for both sides.
No Strat bombing in/from China until 1944.
No strange Carrier Group Resizing
No 4E bombers on Nav attack below 10k - no Superforts on Nav Attack
The Japanese player may only perform one port strike on the first turn.
The allies cannot form new task forces on the first turn or give orders to any fighter groups or land units except in China.
All rules up for discussion.

Please PM if interested.

Tone - I meant using carrier resizing to inflate groups to unrealistic sizes by taking the rest of the CAGs off and resizing (e.g. 70+ plane wildcat / zero groups).

Collingwood - What happened to your game with Yubari that just started?

These are exaggerated fears ...
When you open the editor, so you'll see that the Japanese board hikotai go larger max of 48 pieces of aircraft.
This is in practice impossible for the total lack of aircraft.
Maybe sometime in the later years of the war.
