I do mine one at a time, as need arises. Less annoying that way.

Wife exclusively irons at home... and she cooks 99% of time... all other things we mostly share (but I only hoover the apartment, take the garbage out and clean the bathroom)...

Your wife is either a) charmingly old fashioned or b) doesnt trust you to boil water without hurting yourself.

Many women in the US (at least what I notice in my age group) have slightly different thoughts on the matter.

Not unless they are former military! You've got to be a "vet" to properly "field-day" a house, or put proper "military wrinkles" in a shirt!

A wise man, Dr. Hawkings.......too many people have thought "1st contact" would be "ET-ish" or like "Close encounters". I've always steered more towards "Independance Day" or better yet . "Mars Attacks!".

We have too much of a "Star Trek" view of potential aliens. But even that franchise is becoming more realistic. The 1st year of "Enterprise" seemed to be alternating between "please don't hurt us" and flipping off the Vulcans!

It's not that my wife won't do house work, it's that she shouldn't. She's a magnificent cook (far better than me, so we share, who ever gets home 1st-usually me--cooks). But laundry and ironing, well that's a very scary subject.

As long as you don't accidentally get troll spores on you and take them home. Nothing worse than an infestation of meeting trolls in your house.
