Hi all,

I finally got around to installing DW and trying to figure it out. But I was immediately annoyed by something, and I'd love to find a fix.

I have a dual monitor set up. To pan around the galaxy, I typically move my mouse to the edge of the screen. Unfortunately, this doesn't work where the edge in question butts up against my second monitor. The pointer simply moves onto the second display. This is generally a good thing, but not for playing DW. Is there any way to fix this? Is there a way to have DW either span both my monitors, or to have it 'capture' the mouse so it knows when it is on the edge of the first monitor in all instances?

I hope I'm making sense...any and all help appreciated...

thanks!

From what I have read, DW is not made for dual, or triple monitors. Check out the help section. Someone asked for a question for having it run on 3 screens. I think the answer is no, but not shure. I just use my laptop, and there one monitor.

Ok, I've realized that when I play DW I can just turn off the other monitor (not 'extend the desktop' to it). Not an optimal solution, but it works....

thanks!

I had exactly the same issue. The fix is a great little app called UltraMon. Highly recommend it. The trial period lasts a month and at the end of that time I realized I needed it for all sorts of things.

UltraMon sits in your taskbar and it is as simple as right-clicking the UltraMon icon and selecting 'Disable Secondary'. When you've finished playing you right-click and select 'Enable Secondary'. It does heapsand if you have multiple monitors you'll find it incredibly useful.
