Hi All,

I have been away for awhile. Will the following games and patches work in Win. 7 64bit?

- Uncommon Valor
- HTTR
- Battles in Italy
- Conquest of the Aegean

Thanks.

Yes, they should work fine. The most you should need is "Run as Adminstrator" or "XP Compability Mode" for some, but probably not even that.

One thing to remember in this regard is that a lot of games don't operate properly in Windows 7 when installed to the PROGRAM FILES folder. Matrix' games don't default to that location, BTW, but many do, including most of those from HPS.

Eric,

any plans to fix the color issue for SP:WAW in Win7? True it can be run in a window using a third party program but it would be nice to play full screen too.

Does anyone know if Win7 users need to keep up-to-date on Direct-X 9.0c libraries? I don't even know if that's possible, but something tells me that just because I have Direct-X 11 installed doesn't mean that I have all the .dll's that some Direct-X 9 games require.

All of the DirectX libraries are kept up to date with an install of any of the redists that come out from time to time. So if you install the newest DirectX11, you're also installing the newest DX10 and DX9 stuff too.

No problem. Microsoft doesn't exactly make it well known how those updates work.
