1st : Is it possible to pre-order the next expansion on the Matrix side? if no, why? If no, what will happen if I pre-order the game on the Slitherine side? Will it be comptatible with the one I bought from Matrix? Will I be able to register the game on my Matrix member page? I hate when it is makes a difference on who you buy a game from.

2nd : I just played Marathon, and the supply train charge my hoplite? I think this is a serious AI issue.

We don't do pre-orders on our store, the only pre-order option is through Slitherine. If you pre-order from Slitherine and have our base release of FOG, it will still work fine. You can register anything you purchase here in our Members Club. Games purchased from Slitherine must be registered with them. We are working to make all this more seamless in the future though.

The releases themselves are completely interchangeable though, you can buy one from Slitherine, the other from us and you will have no problems.

Thanks for the report, we will pass it along. Do you have a save that shows this, by any chance?

Regards,

- Erik

:) A good news, I hoped for this move for a long time. I wished you had done that on other product you distribute.

Unhopefully no. The game being short I generally don't save. I can try to mimic it. Do you need a save prior to the charge, after the charge or a can you look at the history of the battle from the save?

The baggage in this scenario are not actually baggage, just badly equipped combat troops. It was created before real baggage was added and it is not yet available in the scenario editor. The AI does not know it should not use the combat unit.

I really love WITP-Admirals edition. I just have one thing that still really bugs me. It is a problem still there from WITP.
When I bombard an ememy held island that have coastal guns my battleships as well as the heavy cruisers really get nailed by these. To my knowledge no US battleship that ever bombarded an island in WWII ever suffered any damage from coastal batteries-they usually were offshore too far. As a matter of fact, in my experiences in the game, of my five battleships two were sunk and the others sustained heavy damage requiring at least a month of repairs.

I thnik that this is something that should be addressed next time you patch the game. To my knowledge the only way the battleships sustatined damage in WWII when bombarding an island like IWO JIMA or OKINAWA was from kamikaze attacks.

Thank you for listening to me, Rick Klahorst
