I don't have a RN recommendation, but get on with it and post 2 more!

Your wish is my command.

Congratulations, Yuri!

This milestone must be an excuse to drink, right?

Things much less significant have served as an excuse to drink.

Does the increase in brain power mean an increase in the size?

He just grows a new ring every year. This applies to his midsection and his posterior as well as his brain.

Quite well. In seven days the packers come, four days later the movers. The following week we start packing the truck ,that we are moving all the stuff that we don't want the movers to get their hands on. (my wife's jewelry, my tools, my gun collection and our wine collection, plus other booze , etc, etc) . I was joking with my wife today saying that this requires as much planning as an amphibious invasion....should I do a AAR? I could call it "The invasion of Omaha (no beach) " or "The Evacuation of Washington".

Yes, fantastic idea to do an AAR of your move...I would choose the first title since the word "evacuation" sounds like some kind of botched medical procedure.

Nope.

Still better than getting yelled at by Americans, though. Although in my former job I was once chewed out by a Brit. I gotta tell ya, it really felt like an honor to have the riot act read to you by someone with a proper command of the language.

Guys (anyone with a naval inclination),

Best I have been able to find, the terms larboard and starboard are etymologically decended from old English backboard and steerboard respectively, supposedly referring to the days when ships were steered by an oar on the right side of the ship. Does anyone know of different meanings? And how did "port" come about?

Also, is it true that the order to "port your helm" means turn right?

I look forward to it both eagerly and with trepidation! Are the killer Emily torpedo bombers waiting for me? Who needs a KB when you have those!

Actual date of departure should be around May 21. Three days transit (We are driving a 26' U-haul towing a car, give me a break!). Arrive in the Offutt area on the 24th. Hopefully I'll have a fully functioning desk top in a real house by the end of the month. I'd just as soon no start this game on my laptop (Screen is WAAAAAAY too tiny).

And congratualations with 10,000! Now , is it time to break down , buy the bloody game , and start doing PBEM'S!
