Playing in a chaos game... Things were reasonable smooth for quite a while until the AI started ending wars without telling me so I went from admired to evil in 10 minutes time for attacking w/out a declaration of war.

Now everyone absolutely hates everyone else and the two empires with the best reputations (notorious) are Dhayut... Everyone else is diabolical.

And they STILL keep crying to me because I'm attacking unprovoked, declaring war on me, then crying that I'm attacking unprovoked...

Do you have a game that shows this in action? Do you have your diplomacy automated or on manual control?

It should be visible on the last couple of savegames I just uploaded as I'm continuing from the last savegame that doesn't hang, which is before the one that I uploaded that hangs.  I can upload another if needed.

Agent missions are manual, war and trade sanctions is manual.  Attacks, treaties, and gifts are all set to suggest.

The diplomacy didn't nose-dive until I changed war & trade sanctions from suggest to manual, but I'd already noticed wars stopping without my intervention.  Things were accelerating at that point so I turned it off to stop being prompted to go to war.

The noisiest problem is the Grand Geminur Empire... Slukens.
They complain about my ships attacking theirs, so I declare war.
5 minutes later, they're complaining about my ships attacking theirs and I check to see, hey, I'm not at war anymore!
This happens with all of the empires.  But they're the most noticable since I've always been at war with them... and my reputation is at the bottom.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned this issue in the tech support post I made.  The original post here was mostly out of amusement because I noticed that suddenly EVERY empire was furious at the least and usually at war with every other empire.   Chaos, indeed.

I am having the same problem in my current game. My copy of DW is fully patched, and I play with all diplomacy set to "suggest". It is frustrating because enemy empires always automatically "peace out" when I am about to invade a mojor planet, and I dont even know it until AFTER my troops are on the surface. Kills reputation, too.
