Was thinking about setting up a online campaign and was wondering if anyone was interested in something like this, it would requir that you have time to play online and that you would see it to the end. How this campaign would work. 1. For the first test one it would be three large maps that you would fight on. 2. Their would be 2 or 4 people depinding on how many are interrested with me as the reff and I would set everything up. I think 2 people would work best becouse its easyer to setup a time to play. 3. Each side would have a equil number of factorie buildings that at the end of each campaign battle would produce tanks and other equipment for the players use. Each side could capture and use the others sides factories to produce equipment that their side could use. 4. Each side would get manpower points at the end of each campaign battle. They would work like this. 3 manpower points = 1 veteran inf section 2 manpower points = 1 regaler inf section 1 manpower point = 1 Green inf section 5. Their would be no upgrading or repairing destroyed units. Your crews that may have lost its tank could use a new tank when your factories build one do. 6. Each campaign battle will contenue from the last battle and if you are fighting on the same map your units will be in the same place as they were when the last campaign battle ended. If you control all of the map at the end of a campaign battle your force will move to the next map and you will fight their for control of that map. If you gain control of all 3 maps you win the compaign. 7. At the end of each campaign battle each unit will gain 3 experince points for each kill that got that battle. 8. The overall leader of your force will gain a rank each time he gains control of a map. All other leaders will gain a rank for 20 kills for infantry units and 40 for armoured units or in the case of a platoon or company leader they will gain a rank for everytime 2 of their lesser commanders gain a rank up. 9. Any damaged unit that is on a map that is under the control of both sides will have to move back to a rapair station to get fixed. If the unit is immobilized you will have to use a prim mover or something to move it back and the unit will get fixed at the end of a compaign battle as long as its in the repair station. 10. Ammo will not be replaced at the end of each battle so you will need ammo carriers to reload all units except off map air. All arty will be on map and will need ammo trucks to reload. 11. The starting force of the campaign will be limited. Like this would work something like this. Example. You can spend 40% of your points on armour. Only a 1/4 of that can be used on Heavy tanks or tank destroyers. No Flamm tanks allowed. 12. At the end of each online campaign battle you would have to save the game and send it to me so I could setup the next one. The above are just staring ideas that would work for a online campaign. So anyone interested in this and may also have more ideas. If not I had to try

Gosh that sounds like fun but it also would take a lot of time. Could this be adapted for pbem? If so count me in. i just don't have the uninterrupted time for online even though I enjoy that mode.

Now I think you're thinking in the direction SPWAW and it's next step should go. You've brought in the over all picture, where a battle has a meaning. Bravo to a tremendous idea. Will it work now? Alot of work. ------------------ "More PT Drill Sargent" Pack Rat
