This bug is persistent. When Autosaving tiny galaxy, usually after first 2 autosaves, the game totally freezes. I've only encountered this on Tiny & dwarf so far. It seems I am able to load the autosave it generates even thou the game hangs while creating it. So it's not that bad.

Yeah, I've had this issue since at least 1.04.5:

I've also three more of the "needs to shutdown" issues with 1.04.9, but there's not really an error log or anything where you can track this down.

Had the same issue quite frequently. Found a pattern in it, only happend if saving while game is paused. My solution was to turn off autosave and only save manually while the game is not paused.

Never happend again.
