I don`t know what you guys think about it, but I think that it shouldn`t go back to zero if I halt construction. I decided to stop an expansion of a port/airfield/fortification, just to continue constructing e.g. an airfield due to emergency situations in the hope that all resources would go into the other construction, and it wiped out my accumulated 55%. When I picked it up again, I it started from zero!

I would have appreciated if it continued at 55%.

This is version 1.20, obviously.

Between the rain, mud, jungle encroachment, possible enemy bombing, etc. it's not unreasonable, to reset the work to 0 rather than keep track of the inevitable degradation to the unfinished work.

Degradation sounds great but it goes back to zero as soon as you stop and start it!

Yes, I have seen the same, but I wonder if it actually drops to zero or it is only a display error. If you are in the screen pushing the button to stop but you change your mind without closing the window, I think you should be able to do that. The percentage would not have to be reset to zero until you close the window.

I agree - resetting progress to 0% does not seem realistic. I think that the progress should slowly degrade over several weeks, if not several months.

Really? Why? It does not do that for already built levels does it (or have I missed that?) Even bombing does not set it back a level. Of course bombing makes the percentage damage go up and it effectively acts almost like knocking it down a level.

I don't mean to refer to airfield/port damage, but rather on the % progress indicator for expansions. In my opinion, if you halt working on an upgrade, the % progress should slowly fall, rather than abruptly reset to 0%.
