Third-Day-In-A-Three-Day-Weekend-Tithe... I have Thursday off too, and then that's it. Three day weekend before a three day work week...

Yeah, you that's good? My 7 day working week started on a Friday evening! And I get to work 12 hour days

EDIT: And a new page, it's all coming up roses!

Congratulations on your wife's pregnancy with your son. Sorry the hours stink, but you'll get used to no sleep at all before long.

I went to see my nephew over the weekend...and discovered that my brother is painting himself a very rosy picture just because the kid's been sleeping 22 hours a day for the 2 days he's been home. We shall see what song he sings in a month or so.

Leo I really enjoyed castles of steel a great book. I always wanted to pick up Dreadnought you'll have to tell me how it is. I always wanted to pick this book here up "The Rules of the Game" by Andrew Gordon I heard it was pretty good it deals with Jutland.

Not sure I can say much that'll cheer you up, but keep going for Claire old boy.

Still it could be worse, you could live in a country where they speak a strange language and have the Germans and Spanish as neighbours.

Eric, mah boy, you seem to be bored. In and of itself thats nothing. But your wife needs you to be strong and cheerful for her, because she cant. She comes first, old friend. And the good news is that if you give it a bit of time, you wont have to fake being cheerful. You will have Claire back in all her glory and you two can enjoy the rest of your lives together (and the 6 months of vacation you French get).

Feel better mon ami.

Joseph, Amazon has the "Dreadnought" (paperback) and it is quite cheap... I am sure it is worth every cent...

BTW, your book will go to my Bookmark's "To get Books" list... ahh... so little time - so many things to do...

Great gifts, Leo!  I've read "Castles of Steel", and loved it.  Want to read "Dreadnought", but have not yet.

Thanks!

BTW, many of you read "Part 2" (i.e. "Dreadnought") without reading "Part 1" (i.e. "Castles of Steel")... was that deliberate?
