how dynamic and random is this game?

do the battles get pretty massive and epic and drawn out or what?

is there a resupply or reinforcement system or what?

The game has an option called "hidden units" that has around 10 variables I think to mix up each start of game play. ATD2 is a massive scenario that took me 40 hours to play 20 turns and there is much to keep your eye on. As far as resupply and

Reinforcement, yes. The Kharkov engine has a very elaborate command and control element that is really nice.
