Naptime for you, methinks...

And worse still, I have no idea what the heck he was singing.

Just Another Day by Oingo Boingo. The song is off the Dead Man's Party album. Amazing that was 25 years ago

What an ugly ship

Looks very plastic

When the F117 came out, I was wondering how long it would take before they applied the same shape/technology to ships. I thought the ships would look extremely cool stealthed up. This ship is another example of how wrong I was.

And the F-117 is machine mulch now. I look at the new warships including the new Zumwalt class and I'm reminded of the Type-21 Frigates. All light and well armed until they caught fire. Plus a tumblehome on a ship that is supposed to be stable? Ok, use wave piercing in the N. Atlantic or in heavy seas. Just don't come crying when she capsizes

I heartily endorse this peace offering!

I also want to buy a rug for some reason as well?

Blimey! My WW1 game against the AI has taken a turn! The French have gone from being on the verge of a collapse to a stable, if somewhat pacifist, government in just a few months. It helps that the French grand offensive didn't just retake St. Mihel, it also got as far as the Rhine in limited numbers and grabbed Metz, Saarburg, Thionville, Kaiserslautern and tore apart the German forces against them

I'm just curious why they gave the sailors bayonettes? Is the RN still training its sailors to repel boarders at bayonette point?

The same reason that the officer commanding my passing out parade from basic training had a sword. It's a little something we people over here have had time to develop, we like to call it tradition

What was Simon's quote of Churchill re: the traditions of the RN? I forget... Has canabalism finally been stopped in the RN?

Hmmm...it would appear that one of our old 'friends' has returned on the Opponents Wanted section.  With such pleasant euphamisms as 'with more guts than x', that sounds very much like some of our dearly missed friends from the past...

That's because you are still a young man and haven't reached the age of decadent discrimination yet. Everyone wants to put hotties into those cfm stiletto pumps, but it makes them so much taller than us; ouch. And then can you imagime that one digging her heels into your butt, wearing hardware like that; ouch. Besides, I like to nibble on they tiny feet, and a two pound block of polystyrene just don't float my dinghey, know'm'sayn; ouch.

I personally think we should not post pictures of scantily-clad women on The Thread, since this is how the very first Thread got locked.
