Just wanted to say "Thanks" again for DW. As I read various gripes and rants about bugs in the game (and yes, I have have encountered a few myself) I wonder how many of US would stand up to the level of screutiny we want to give the GAME. This is a great game, and I have played repeatedly (and am still learning, of course) and have had little that I could call "GRRR! SNARL! SNAP!" kinds of bugginess. Especially 1.049.

I have had games (and more expensive software) that have been buggy and it would be forever before anything would be fixed or even looked at (can you say "Microsoft") -- so the quickness with which you and the Code Force guys are reacting is really super.

BTW even real life warplans, with massive planning staffs and the like, still SNAFU regularly when they encounter the real world. There will never be a perfect warplan, and there will never be perfect game programming when it's something as complex as this one is, but we need to show patience, and enjoy what we do have until it gets better.

That's my rant for today.

I agree, keep up the good work. Yes alot of bugs were in the game, but I never, NEVER EVER seen a company work so hard and fast to fix. Please keep up the good work Erik and Elliot.

Agreed.

The fact that we're so excited about every feature of this game is a testament to the great product.

After trying out this game you got me hooked and just bought it. Your promptness to fixing problems and the fact you take on board seriously the communities suggestions is to be highly commended.
I for one salute you and your excellent game.

I am in agreement, very happy with the patching and community feedback. I look forward to playing this game, expansions and mods for years to come. Best space 4x I have played to date, even above Master of Orion 1 & 2!
