Well guys I'll be heading to Israel for a week and half talk to you soon

Stay safe, buddy. Although its probably not the ideal destination for people who are looking for safe and relaxing.

Already back from a short run, showered, and preparing for day 5 of 6 in a row for hockey tryouts.

Today is going to be a long one, with 3 sessions, so I had better pack the big cooler.

Oh, and first day of vacation, too.

Ok ... (thank you, BTW) ... hmmm ... did I hear you having second thoughts when I posted the chocolate lady? ...

Oh my goodness no, Per; oh no, no, no. I loved every, single, lickable, hypoglycemic, inch of that beauty.

I'm curious, though, maybe a question for Kristian, yeah? Is a chocolate covered girl considered 'scantilly clad' and does it matter if it's puny little US Hershey's 'milk choco lite', or maybe if it's an Anthon Berg? or a Neuhaus? or maybe a Mindo/Mayordomo from the land of the bean? Ooooh .. I could have serious fun with that. 33 tries for each possibility - just so's it's mathematically statistically significant, ya understand.

Lemme know Kristian - but remember, I was first in line. Ciao.

Got that. Just teasing.

Chocolate has its uses, to be sure, though only the dark stuff. Milk chocolate is good for eating, but not... other purposes...

AC/DC played in my town tonight in front of an estimated 30,000 people. Too big for my tastes; give me a good club gig with 50 people any day...

Heh...better get used to impossible imperatives like that Dixie. Soon, they will be applied to your wee one too. Not that one has any greater likelihood of keeping kids calm than border collies.

Good hockey music.

I'm of the age now that I would enjoy seeing them play. I know my 12 year old son would love to see them. The ringtone on my phone for my son's caller id is "Thunderstruck."

Happy Birthday D-Day. Still waiting for a good battalion-sized computer game on the subject...

If somebody would port The Longest Day into a computer game, I could die happy.

The SSG series, with "Battle in Normandy", although at Regiment level, was quite good for my taste !!

I have some young pals that think AC/DC is some kind of Dynausorus thing. When they want to laugh, one just have to start to play with an MP4 or something like that "Highway to Hell" and wait for my reaction

I'd love to see one covering the advance across France. Then Per can use it to teach the dos and donts of logistics.

We decided to forgo camping this weekend for threats of "strong thunderstorms". Havent seen a raindrop yet (although there was quite a bit of lightning across the sound in CT last night).
