I am sure that you followed the suggestion, right?

Yep. This software has some amazing ideas once in a while. Or maybe, it was the gestalt of The Thread talking.....

I think you might be reading too much into this. On the other hand, Ben Franklin did say "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!".......God works in mysterious ways....

Looking to be a real scorcher here next week. I'm already delirious with glee at the prospect of my poorly-airconditioned office...

At least the repair man was able to get our air conditioner working again yesterday morning.  We arrived home from our trip at 2200 Tuesday night to find the temp in our house at 96 F.

Let's talk in February, my man, when I'm out riding my bicycle.

Gosh, that's too bad. We've only used our air conditioning on two afternoons all year. You really could get by without one altogether here. Especially on beautiful days like today that just make you glad to be alive.

But how many times did you turn your heat up last winter? Enjoy your summer CB. Winter is coming.

Let's talk in February, my man, when I'm out riding my bicycle.

Now, now. Don't begrudge me my pound of flesh, Mike. Trust me, I hear about y'alls wonderous February-Aprils every year. June-August here are our opportunity to remind you where the other shoe is.

So, since it's now past 1400 hours, what's your temperature? I'll ask again at 1600 too.

Yes, with summer again following that one too. Circle of life, Steve-san.

Speaking of which-why don't I have a turn in my inbox? Just curious.

Temp actually has dropped to 98..... I was hoping to see 100 for a new record.

I have no idea. Have you looked in your inbox? I worked on it during my lunch break, you should have had it over an hour ago. What's the hurry? I'm assuming that you are at work.

Wanna trade shoes?

People complain about cold but you can always put a bit more on. When you're sweating like a pig in the shower it's just unbearable.

It just came across a few minutes ago. Of course I'm still at work, aren't you?

100 degrees at 1605.

Time to drop the top on the car and cruise home.

I said the same thing when I moved from Georgia to Washington state. Now the long winters are wearing me down. I think that it's time to find a happy medium...

By the way, any respectible Minnesotan will tell you we have four seasons:

1. Almost Winter
2. Winter
3. STILL Winter
4. Road construction

In a tip of the hat to our unofficial state bird, some variations on the cycle substitute #4 on the list with 'Mosquito hatch'. To each their own.
