btw i see the thread has found me even on facebook. hows it going steve.

but one thing road trip to jacksonville from dallas means....... mobile alabama

yeah pretty much i have been getting up at 5 on saturdays and sundays to do my 12-14 mile runs and its still in the upper 80s by the time i get done around 9. plus the humidity has sucked.

Strangley enough, I like it here. Nice people, a pretty enough town (although it could use mountains and a ocean

) It's very different from any where that I've ever lived. I've lived in all four corners of the country , so I suppose that it's only natural that I should live in the middle for a while (I mean right smack in the middle). It's no suprise that it has the best steak I've ever had, but what does suprise me is all the really good micro breweries and small beer brewers.

For the most part, they are very,very good!

You played just fine on your old one, but if a new computer makes you happy, then you should get one! I'm seriously thinking of hooking my computer up to my new 55" TV. Even I would be able to see the map (and play AE better!).

Just like in the game VP=Fixed wing patrol (USN) . VP-40 flies the P-3c update 3 so yeah it does ASW,ASUW,patrol,search and rescue, and in general is the hand maiden of naval aviation. It even can carry an amazing quantity of wine or spirits!

I'm sure 20 is faster. But andouille is better. :)

Depends on if you are in a rush or interested in enjoying the sights. The Lake Pontchartrain bridge is an experience you should have at least once in life.

I-20 is an alright drive, kinda sterile tho. Just be careful to not get pulled over and hear the fateful cajun-accented words, "Boy, you're not from around here. Please step out of the car, sir."

we have family in lake charles and beaumont i am well aware of that.
