Interesting linguistic nuances...do you refer to your 'also ran' celebrities as "z-list" or 'B-list'? Here it's the latter.

I remember playing this back when I first started playing PC games.  There's still not much out there to match it IMO, the devious aliens, the incredible tech tree, the fact that anything from memory is better than anything new....

My wife (medical doctor) told me that such graphic 3D models would tremendously help medicine students when learning anatomy (and various other medical stuff)!

The most controversial one is by German anatomist (and pioneer of this) Gunther von Hagens called "Body Worlds"... that one tries to be "artsy"...

Hi Leo,

Your wife is right. We've been using plastinated / formalin-fixed specimens for years on the veterinary educational front. I can imagine that such models would be very useful for teaching human anatomy as well. The vasculature tree display is most impressive.
