June 6th, 1944 Canadian Advance vs. German Delay 0600 hours Juno Beach Canada, recovered from the tragedy that was Dieppe, was now determined to take this beach from the Germans, and pierce into the center of Normandy. Attacking as Canada is yours truly, with Vitkin playing as ZE EVIL GERMANS yet again. This time, instead of obsolete 1941 tanks and artillery, we are in 1944. Tigers, Shermans, and other things run amock. I have deployed my troops, and it is now my turn. I drop my troops off at the beach, taking at least 20 casualties from the initial-drop. I order my DD tanks to charge into the cities, destroying some structures and killing a sniper. I am also sieging the cities, and attacking an AA cannon. Before an LCVP can get ot the shore, it is wiped out by a large 15cm cannon. One of my shore party boats gets immobilized by a mine, and I have yet to drop off my remaining men. Let's move it up, men. To the seawall!
