Still waiting on my game to turn up(should be 1-2 days )
was just looking for some input into how much replay value this game has ?? does the ai do the same thing over and over in every game or does it try and respond in diff. ways??
I know pbem will be a different story .was looking for some additional input on this side of the game

Look upon the AI as being a training aid.......start the AI on the "Historical" setting, this is a nice "easy starting point. As you get better, then set the AI to "Hard". There are a few dumb things that the AI will do, and one or two places that the AI will always capture (GG comes to mind), but the AI will teach a hardb lesson to the player that becomes complacent.

I have 5 PBEM running, and still have two AI games running. I have been playing thsi game now ever since it came out, and have yet to get bored. I think of it as a good lead-up for WiTP.

Enjoy!

Just when you think the AI is getting dull, it nails you. However where a human opponent won't yield to temptation (and risk his forces at a fat target) the AI will, and you can surprise it sometimes.

As for replayability, 2 games will never be the same because of the amount of variables (every bomb, shell, air to air combat has "to hit" calculations, followed by "damage" calculations. The same 10 planes hitting the same convoy 3 times (reloading the save after every try) ends up with very different results.

I have had UV since it came out as well, I think the game has a very good level of replayability compared to most.

I have 4 PBEM games going and each one is amazingly different. Like was stated before, the AI is a training aid.

But be careful to not develop bad habits, a decent human player will make you pay!

I have learned this lesson....
