I am examining the US destroyers in Luganville in scenario 7. After disbanding the TFs there, I noticed the following:

Some of them have zero torpedoes. Not ammo for torpedoes, but zero torpedo launchers. How do I get that fixed?

Two, some of them have zero ammo for a depth charge type. Is there a way to get some charges on board? I waited a couple of days, still nothing.

Three, some of the destroyers have 1000 Ops points. Why is that?

It doesn't happen every time I load the scenario, which adds to my confusion.

Can anyone please tell me what happened? Thanks.

This is from an error relating to the changed armaments of USN DD's brought in as part of the 1.20 patch. I think it only effects certain DD's of the Benson Class in some (all?) scenarios. The 1000 op points is showing up because the game routine is attempting to resupply the "empty" ammo for the Depth Charges.
Matrix said they would fix the problem in a future patch.

In the meantime, they can still be used normally but without the torps and DC's. Best use (if you're not short of DD's) is to send them back to Pearl to trigger release of other ships. If you were really determined, you could identify all the affected ships, create a new scenario 7 and reset them all to the default Benson armament. There should be no problems with them after that (but it could mean a lot of messing around, especially if you've never used the editor before).

Ooops, when I said Benson, I meant the Benham Class.
