An 82-year-old man went in to have his annual
physical. Afterwards, the doctor gave the man a
jar and said, "Take this jar home and bring back
a semen sample tomorrow."

The next day the old man reappeared at the
doctor's office and gave him the jar which was
as clean and empty as on the previous day.

The doctor asked him why the jar was empty and
the man explained, 'Well, doc, it's like this -- first
I tried with my right hand, but nothing -- then I
tried with my left hand, but still nothing.
Then I asked my wife for help. She tried with
her right hand, then with her left -- still nothing.
She tried with her mouth -- first with the teeth in,
then with her teeth out, still nothing.
We even called up Arleen, the lady next door,
and she tried too, first with both hands, then an
armpit, and she even tried squeezin' it between
her knees, but still nothing.....'

The doctor was shocked!
"You asked your neighbor?"

"Yep replied the old man,

None of us could get that darn jar open."

Nothing but putrid filth. Atta boy, Bruce.

All good here thanks Eric.  Josh is on 'proper' food now and is mobile.  Clare is heading back to work for a few days next month.

That's always nice to hear (read)

Josh is on 'proper' food now and is mobile.

Will probably cause some headaches and laugh for the parents

Clare is heading back to work for a few days next month.

My best wishes to both of you

To T and Dixie

Note to self: it's always the small , little things. I just nearly returned my new home theatre system cause the ^^&&**&^@#$ thing kept dying after a few hours. A very bright young man at Bose thought of having me look under the power supply for a very tiny little switch. Which was set for European current!

Here in Australia, that would result in a flash of light, a puff of smoke and an invalid warranty.......

Nothing wrong with me as such. A very close personal friend of mine at work is going through a hard time with depression and anxiety attacks, and I've been through it myself many years ago, so I know how much pain she's in.

Added to that she is the nicest little woman in the whole wide world (and I mean little, she's barely 5 feet tall), and the last person who deserves to be so sad.

She burst into tears at our reception desk yesterday morning, and I severely overstepped my authority by sending her home. Don't care; they can fire my ass if they want to.

It's a horrible world to live in, when your brain is not your obedient servant. I liken it to having a monster living under one's bed; I've killed my personal monster (through blood, sweat and not a few tears), but my poor friend still has hers.

So that's the story. It was heartbreaking to see her like that yesterday, and that's why I posted the sad smileys.
