 BRITISH HQ's

Anyway last two turns quiet not a lot to say

Finishing off my re org to enable a sustainable fight in Burma still worried about gettingcaught badly by an ambush

231 RAF Group - 4 Sqns of Wellingtons, 1 of Liberators are the RAF Strategig Group
Tenth AF 90th and 19th Bomb Groups with B17's are the USAAF Equivalent.

221 Group and 225 Group RAF each with 5 - 6 Sqns of Blenheims/Bolingbrokes or RAAF Hudson I's are my main RAF medium groups supported by 4 - 6 Sqns of Hurricanes each
I also have starting to form up 8 Sqns of USAAF B25C's not all at anything like full strength but starting to assemble.

In total I will have 3 x Hvy Bomb Groups and 4 x Mixed Medium Bomb Groups in India before I am done supported by 1 USAAF P38 Group and 1 USAAF P40K/P39D Group and a coastal command Group (222 Group and a training command Group (227 Group)

It is incredibly fragile I have reserves for maybe a 5 - 7 day air war attrition battle i.e. 40 RAF fighters, 40 RAF Bombers, 0 USAAF Heaviies/Mediums or P38's in the pool.

If PZB wants to wrest back control he can do so all he needs to do is commit 300+ fighters he will take some lumps from the P38's and Forts but they are a wasting asset and my RAF mediums are scarily vulnerable

Oh, my, yeah.. Alexandria, SCOTLAND .

Well, don't think what can PZB can do to your planes, think what can you do with your planes to the PZB planes..

PzB is struggling with the deluge of allied ACs (as he sees it). Unfortunately for psyops there are knowledgeable commentators that are setting him straight, well kind of, our estimations have been that your reserves were able to keep attacks up for a month. 5-7 days... that is perilous (don't worry - not ACTUALLY divulging anything - purely from the hypothetical).

In the interests of game balance the low allied stockpiles may be beneficial, but it sure feels wrong. Although, I suppose you are trying a very big air campaign early in the war.

True so far so good my carefull preservation of force has worked for me at some stage he has to realise he need sot attrit me when he does he will suffer but I will suffer more.

Reality is I only get 1 Hurricane a day and he can out produce that.

When I get my 2nd RAAF Spit Sqn up and running I will have slightly more staying power but for now I am running a huge bluff

Oh I know John thinks I have lots more than I actually have.

De facto its very very vulnerable especially my RAF Bombers.

Getting the 6 Sqns that just arrived (USAAF) up and running will help as the USAAF Mediums are more replaceable.

De facto I can only afford to take losses in one theatre at a time.

I fought with the USAAF and RAAF pools (with only a couple of RAF Sqns) in Australia now its USAAF and RAF in India (with a couple of RAAF/RCAF and RNZAF Sqns to help)

But its seriously tight

I have plans developing

No withdrawals is not all good.

I just had to disband 2 Bdes manually as I dont have the replacements

Also 70th UK Div as everyone knows its basically a Div level assrt but its perm restricted.

So under house rules I cannot send it across a border as its restrictred
I cannot disband it so the devices are all stuck there.

I need those 72 x 25 pounders but cannot get access to them.

So no withdrawals is not all clover for the allies.....

Having said that I think after the loss of the three BB's that I will be willing to make a play for Ramree Island maybe mask it as a move to develop lots of dot bases....

My RAF Night Bombing Group gained another Sqn

I now have 4 Sqns of Wellingtons and 1 Sqn of RAF LIberators.

These are the only aircraft that will night bomb (RAF strategic bombers)

Keeping the force intact and preserving them has really worked out for me despite my anemic replacement rate

Some questions:

1) What AA units have you put there ?

2) What "my policy of making the Central Burmese AF's" means ?

3) Looks like you are suffering the "overdisbanding units" sickness...

1) an RAF Group Base Force so it has an embedded Hvy and Light AA Regt
2) 3 x Indpt Hvy AA Regts
3) 1 x Indpt LAA Regt
4) 2 other Base forces each with a Battery of Hvy and Light AA

So 112 3.7" AA Guns and 96 x 40mm with several radar sets

De facto Burma is the only theatere I can really hit back in for now.

I will make another attempt at palmyra at some stage and I will also probably hit NG at some stage.

Whether I go up through the solomons or not I am not sure of

I am being so carefull with my RAF Fighters and Bombers I lost sight of my P40 pool and its getting a little low as they carry most of the CAP duties (as I have more of them)

Will need to switch out some Hurricane Sqns back onto CAP duty.

We are both losing 5 - 10 per day and thats not really sustainable for me

I may need to try a knock out blow at Southern Burmese AF's

A Chindit Column in Gliders assaulted Ramree Island and took it if I could get it up to level 2 AF it would allow P40's and Hurricanes to range over Southern Burma

This would force his AF further back meaning he would have to commit IJN to Bay of Bengal at which point I will go on the offensive in CENTPAC

My intel says in the last 60 days I have sunk 10 IJN Subs

Not a lot to say at present I control airspace over north burma he controls south and central

I am waiting on my carriers finishing upgrades and my Armoured Corps has just taken Alice Spring and Tennant Creek so not sure how fast he is retreating.
