I've been positive, and still am (in a way), about LSA since the first day. With a few tweaks I think it has the potential to become the best CC ever, but c'mon guys!

Multiple BGs is a long awaited feature, but if the 'price' for moving a new BG onto a map with an existing battle is '1/3-maps', 'chequered-maps' or this, I might as well put the game away until the issue is fixed or play 'old-school': -Move one BG out, move the new in...

1000 o'clock, September 18 and my GC dies on me when I'm about to deploy for the battle. All I did in the Strategic turn was to issue a "Move" order to Irish Guards so they would stand ready on the map when the bridge was repaired, they don't even participates with a single sniper in the battle. The red line is a rough description of the German lines at the end of last turn; -But I guess that the arrival of XXX Corps makes the Airborne unwilling to fight, "let's retreat to our Alamos", while the Germans suddenly gets a moral boost and clears out twice as much of the area than they held before..?

Sarcasm aside, there's a entire post discussing "What force morale and tactical maps represent", but when the game-mechanism don't represents it, it becomes a game-killer!

Please, can this be fixed?!?

Yes and it's being worked on. I've logged the extra info with the bug report. Thanks!

It only costs $40 to be a beta tester!

Well, to their defence I can only say that it might be that this specific situation never occurred during Beta testing. I've been playing since the first day, and I've never seen anything this bad before.

Before this turns into an nasty rant, ask yourself how many "Important Security Patches" you've installed for Windows? It's impossible to find every little mistake in thousands of lines of data, all we can do is report them when we find them and wait for an upgrade. If RD_Oddball would say "sorry Dud, you have to live with it" I would uninstall and use the CD's for target practice, but I'm satisfied as long as he (and the others) says "...it's being worked on..."

Cheers and keep up the good work

and btw: We are only experience in-game issues, I think the guys that bought Starcraft II and burned their graphic-cards have more reasons to flame their game developers.

I cant speak for the new features that LSA has provided with 2 BG's on the same map.but the deployment bug I mention has been around for the entire CC series.

During testing I played the GC through, numerous partial campaigns, user made scenerios and battles and saw that once early on in testing. The bug got reported to our bug tracker and never saw it again ergo the assumption had to be that it was fixed

Thats what this beta tester was doing anyway

rofl!
Or: What the f**k?!?

Maybe this should be a new thread, but it's still St.Odenrode that gives me grey hairs, or a good laugh (not sure what I'm doing right now)

Took a few days to resume the GC and try to save the situation, what happened before this:
* Last turn at this map: Irish Guard relived the Airborne and started to clear the map, I could hardly afford a 'Schreck' and some 'Ersatz' for KG 59 I.D. The Guards took several VL and almost kicked the German butt (Force Moral victory, but they were save by the timer).
* Last battle of the GC: 130th Brigade kicked 107th Pz. Brigade and KG Rink (reserve BG) from Son, since 214th Brigade had move into Nederwetten the Germans were forced to disband.

And now, look at this FP:

320 points, Panthers and other armour! Doubt it is reinforcements, since the only Panthers along 'Hell's Highway' was the now disband 107th Pz. Brigade. A bug, or a feature I've missed that makes disbanded BG's to sneak away and join the closest friendly unit?

(I'll keep a save file if it's needed)

Indeed. See the game manual, section 17.8.

What?!? -Do I have to read the entire manual!?

Not jealous of the engineers that had to move elements of an armoured brigade across the canal, but thanks for the answer.
