First i like to get one testing mod ready.So soon as possible I have testing mod online 5112KB I like to get feedback good and bad things.

That's a good idea, pasting the spheres together to make freighters. The borg are so simplistic in their ship designs, it shouldn't be too hard to build a fleet.

The problem I had making borg cubes and spheres is that Distant Worlds has a bug in the way in which it scales the ships. A ship image that is long and thin, either horizontally or vertically, is always scaled very big. Whereas a ship image that is broad and extends to each side of the image, is scaled very small.

This means that a borg cube will appear much smaller than other ships, which obviously is not a good thing. The borg need to be big and menacing. My borg cubes look like little oxo cubes!

Anyway I hope this bug is fixed soon, so keep up the good work, unicron.

I would think modelling the borg, not so much what the ships look like, but modelling them as a race...
and modelling the ships in so far as their capabilities are concerned will be very difficult.
I look forward to the completed project...
Did you use the world destroyer as your special technology?

Your models are REALLY nice though!

And of course naming a borg ship is easy... cube 1 cube 2 cube 3 cube 4...
Really neat work... I look forward to the final project. There is something very menacing about a Borg cube, and you have captured that menace... neat work!

no updates in a while, looks like there still isint a way to make the borg cubes bigger, but that dosent matter to me, i will use my imagination
