I'd promised myself I wouldn't start counting down the hours until I was past lunch on Friday, but that promise has proven to be impossible to keep.

You obviously dont have enough work to do. My last gig, the week before vacation was a mad dash to close or somehow wrap up anything that might explode in my absence. A dash I usually lost.

I hate car insurance renewal time.    With the amount I've paid in premiums since I learnt to drive I could probably afford to buy an entire new car   And Mrs Dixie is pushing up my premiums   Being in the forces probably doesn't help, or living in Oxfordshire.

And those talking red telephones can shove their quote where the sun shineth not.  Guaranteed to beat any renewal quote?  Hah!  Not when it's £500+ more than several other quotes and for less cover.  And they made me put all my details into their website instead of letting me use a price comparison website.  Gits.

And Josh is costing me an extra £40. Surely I'm going to be less of an idiot with my son in the back?

Theres a couple of things about what youre saying that dont sound quite right auto insurance-wise. But you Brits do most things in a strange way.

Definitely one of my favorite movies.

I think I mentioned this before, but Russ needs to get off his hiney, get ahold of Paul Bethany and start working on the next one. The guys that played Killick and Bonden are also keepers IMHO.

Are you suggesting that South American marsupials migrated? Maybe they flew across some strait towards early day Australia? Would they have been holding coconuts?

No, not migrated, immigrated.

Recent research shows that the common ancestor of Australian and North American marsupials was from South America

And the common ancestor of man is from the Rift Valley but I don't think they'll give me a Kenyan passport. Mombers is a good run ashore though.

I think all man originated from a "rift valley"-of sorts.

That was a nice blast and a shiny new page. Time to tackle this work I've brought home...lest I actually have to do it at work tomorrow.

Laphroaig - excellent
Highland Park - epitome

Highland Park...a quick google shows it's from the Orkneys....not technically an Islay? But they do appear to use peat so I suspect comparable?

I like Laphroig because it's good and affordable. Lagavulin is even better and not affordable. How does Highland Park compare to Lagavulin?

My favorite is Port Ellen. They knocked down the distillery so it is getting really hard to find. I've a unopened bottle of cask strength that I joke about enjoying at my wake.

Port Ellen has high peat and is extremely bitter. Iodine fluctuates by year and age.
