I'd love to give this design a try. Are there still slots open for playtesting in future? If so, how does one go about applying?

I appear to have answered my own question by reading the update thread started by Joel. Whatever happens, looking forward to this game as is my old wargaming buddy. This looks to be a great pbem game.
