1st Looking at getting a new HPS, something in the german grey flavor. Since I am waiting for CC:LSA to get a little better in solo play with mods or patches.

looking at the following for solo gaming: one of these HPS Panzer titles,

1940 Sealion
1941 Smolensk
1942 Kharkov, just got two books on the '42 battle ordered.

Might go one of the Africa titles, for 1941.

Coming from CC...your not interested in HPS Squad Battles titles? I am a big fan of Eagles Strike (red victory is next...). These games are squad based tactical like CC...but turn based...and very good. Highly suggested.

no. just finished HPS Bulge, and want to go to something eariler.

CC is the only RTS I play,

CC, TLD and LSA
CMBB, CCAK
HPS PC, Bulge, Salerno, Sicily
Baldur's Gate

that's pretty much what I've been playing for the last six months.

I think I may wait for The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris to come out vs a HPS title.

Have Sealion.
Its ..well its OK.
Very similar to other HPS titles. Shows its age in interface and action.
But who else does a sealion game for PC?

There was an expansion for West Front, labeled Sealion, which now is part of JTCS.

Long PBEM game as V.Pz Armee. I liked it as I am a WaR fan, never played stalingrad, as I tend to avoid stalingrad games overall.

That's one I am waiting to see for a new release...and the PC:Ostfront, if it can make me reinstall my copy of Kharkov which I bought day of release, played for prob 2-3 days and got sick of it and uninstalled/shelved it.

Kharkov '42 is one of my favorite games. It feels more 'balanced' in that the battle could go either way. Smolensk is a great game as well, though like France '40 it comes down to how long you can hold off the unstoppable Germans. Can't comment about Sealion as I don't have it(yet).
