BTW , trust my Martian friend to be the one person to know about Green/Orange whiskey!

i don't even know if Knockando and Glennfiddish are Green or Orange , but i like those

They are Scottish, and in theory that would make them closer to Orange. And I like them two!

MUCH closer. Indeed the Orange faction in northern Ireland is primarily Scottish people moved over there by the English during the Plantation. Google it.

Those Scots are the ones I'm descended from.

Went on an outing today to the Valiant Air Command (VAC) museum in Titusville, FL. I got lucky.

Changing the oil in the variable pitch mechanism on the port engine of a B-25J

No, my people aren't from North Carolina. Kentucky->Missouri->Montana was their route.

The VAC has an F4F-4/FM1 Wildcat that was rescued from Lake Michigan and restored by a bunch of Grumman retirees living in Florida.

Would that have been Black Shadow Aviation in Jacksonville? If it was, then I saw that plane when it 1st came into the restoration hanger.

No it was done right there in Titusville by a bunch of retirees living in Brevard County.

They are currently working on an Avenger. I will post that picture tomorrow.

The thread ref carrier TV shows reminded me of the Airbase Kandahar series that was on Brit TV last year.  Plenty of 216 Sqn on there   There were several guys who mentioned going to the Thai massage parlour as one of the few relaxations available, imagine my surprise when I got out there two weeks later and found out it had been closed for offering happy endings

Hi all,

Sick day tithe.

My butt landed in the ER last night with a "complex migraine" and hypertension.

The Dr informed me that at my advanced age I should probably have a regular doctor to look after my decrepit carcass.

Take care brother Onime!

Yuri, if you have too often migraine, try "ear-therapy". That look like acupuncture, but it is on the ear.
It had really good result on Wife unit.

Morning tithe. Skipping my 1st cup of coffee for the day. Sure hope I have enough brainpower for the drive without it.

That was the first one ever. Hopefully the last. It is not an experience I would care to repeat multiple times.

Has anyone else her got involved with the World of Tanks game? It's in beta but it's pretty easy to get in if you're interested. It plays a bit like Navyfield but with a bit of sim thrown into the mix, you can hide in stuff to avoid detection and use wrecks as cover. I'm driving a Marder II as my main ride (and it's pants), whilst I can knock out light tanks easily enough the T-34s and Panzer III are a different matter, and I'm lucky if I can even knock a track off a Tiger
