Ships leaving port even before they have even the most basic of parts (engines, life support, power plant, etc...) Fairly simple reproduce steps, you may even be able to skip some: 1) Pause the game.

2) Pick a war. Any war. Doesn't matter which one. Pick one. Be sure to have the military advisers set to 'Suggest' targets...

3) Disband your fleets Probably doesn't matter if you have fleets, but this may help force the issue.

4) Go to a port. Order up 10 or so cruisers at that port.

5) Go to your ships and bases screen. Sort by firepower. Locate them 0 firepower ships you just ordered. Add them to a fleet.

6) Unpause game.

7) Wait for it.... wait for it...

8) "Our military advisors recommend that we attack Ylisea 1 mining station, owned by our enemy the Securan Renaissance in the Ylisea system. The 2nd fleet is waiting in the Dacshii system, ready to carry out the attack. Should we initiate the attack?" -- Yes.

Watch the ships in construction rotate and.... leave port, even though they are 90%+ incomplete, and may consist visually of nothing more than running lights. //Torrenal

Thank you for demonstrating this very annoying bug, even if I used ages to see your message .

I have had this happen a few times, as I typically order ships, and then add them to fleets right away.
