I'm having difficulty finding the Signal Intelligence reports; can anyone help? I know in the old version there was a button for it. The manual says that L is the hotkey for it however I don't get anything. Is there some option I need to switch on to get the Sig Int?

It's the third button from right, and yes, L should bring up the SigInt Screen.

Thanks Rainer, however that is my problem, the button isn't there and the L key does not work. I'm wondering if I have somehow turned it off however I'm looking around and can't find anything.

I am not aware of any means to turn SigInt on or off.
Fairly strange, especially the disappearing button ...

I would try to start a new campaign (and do a reboot before for good measure), and see if the SigInt comes up.

I think that a simple restart should fix it. I have had similar problems occur, usually when something external tabs me out of the combat replay to the desktop. When it happens, I find that I can save, restart, and reload the save and the problem is fixed. Hopefully that will work here

You can look in your save directory - the file(s) are there.

Thanks Don! However the reports are still not in the game proper. This is better than nothing though!

Other than Don's solution I have not been able to figure out my Sig Int problems, does anyone else have any thoughts on how to solve this?

It sounds like you have a corrupted install somehow. I'd save your Save folder and try a reinstall.

Does the sigint file you have start with asigint or jsigint, and what side are you playing?

if you have a jsigint and you are allies, mebbe your opponent is sending you his sigint file and you're not running the combat reply to generate your own.

Which resolution are you playing at? If its a non-common setting this
CAN lead to display errors, I experienced that myself on low resolution settings
at windowed mode.

You could try changing the resolution and see if it helps.

I thought of that too, but he's missing a whole button from the menu bar, and it's from the middle of the pack. Exceedingly strange.

Bullwinkle youre right, also the since the L key is not working that
makes it even more strange.

But I have tried resolutions that resulted for example in the combat animations
being spread over the whole screen, so it could really give weird results.
At least trying it out would rule out that it has anything to do with resolution.

Not really. If you bump your monitor, sometimes buttons will fall to the bottom of the screen. Very annoying. It's more prevalent with flat screens than the old CRTs. The Devs should have used better adhesive in the code.

Not only that. When I hit the monitor KB fell from the HI directly to NZ.
This a cheat. I tells ya.

Oh that is TOO funny. Thanks for the input! I'll look around my computer and if I find that button I'll glue it back on! I did change the resolution to fit to my wide screen monitor so perhaps that is the issue. I'm playing the computer (not ready for a real opponent yet) so it just my install. If fiddling with the resolution does not change things I'll try and reinstall.

Thanks

Well I tried a new install and it worked! However when I tried using scen editor and added a mod I once again had the same problem where I loose the report buttons when I went to start a game. Sigh...

Thats very strange.

Do you use Windows 7 64 by chance?

I read somewhere that the editor doesn´t specifically like it.
(could be that I am really really wrong there though)

Which mod did you add?

Take this with a grain of salt. I THINK I read it, but am not completely sure if I mix something up here.

In any case, looks a bit like the editor or the mod have something to do with it.

You seem to be right; when I install the game it works. As soon as I add a scen outside of thoes that come with the game, the problem happens.
