My PBEM opponent accidentally left the "Auto sub" setting ON when creating our game. It has been a slight inconvenience, but nothing that we can't live with.

However, I noticing a big "PITA" problem during the 4/42 upgrade (Allies). I'm noticing that once a sub is disbanded into the port to get it's upgrade, AND if the subs has no damage, the computer will send the sub out on patrol without the upgrade being performed. I'm assuming that it is because the "Auto Sub" function takes place before the "Upgrade" function during the turn process, but this is just a guess.

I don't have a turn to provide today, but if one is needed, I can post one tomorrow. Let me know.

I experienced the same thing during the 4/42 mass upgrade. Was rather annoying. You have to keep at it until you get at least 1 sys damage on each sub so u can stand down sub.

As an aside, being able to stand down a ship with no damage but under computer control in preperation for an upcoming upgrade would be a nice to have

Here is the turn before.

The Seawolf and Snapper are at Sydney (docked), both with no damage. Both are set to "Upgrade: yes". During this turn I disbanded both subs into port. The next turn (posted below), instead of upgrading, "Auto-sub" sent both subs out on patrol.

Here is the next turn where the subs are sent out on patrol.

PM me if you need my password. PM Cuttlefish if you need his password.
