Updated 19/03/13

- Compatable with Return of the Shakturi expansion only
- Racial Bias settings included
- 10 Star Trek races. Human, Klingon, Romulan, Tellarite, Vulcan, Tholian, Suliban, Andorian, Orion and Terran
- 10 ship sets, 1 for each Star Trek race. Shakturi and Mechanoids are not overwritten so you can still play the story.
- Troop Images
- New with version 1.2a - Archer Era music
- Dialogue for Klingons and Romulans
- 575 Star Trek systems

Installation

1.Unzip
2.Copy the folder 'Star Trek Archer Era' to Matrix Games/Distant Worlds/Customization/
3.Run the game and select 'Change Theme' from the main menu then select the Star Trek Archer era mod and click 'Switch Theme'

Your stuff is all good, make no mistake, but I like these ships alot, the station is sharp too... :)

Still got a bit to do, but I was so excited about making my first ship with engine trails, I had to upload a preview first!

Can anyone believe this? I start a game with the sole purpose of making a quick screenshot with the human race, and what system does it give me out of all the hundreds available?

Status: offline 		Just a quick update on what I'm doing with this mod.

I've made a vulcan shipset, though it's no where near as good as Drillerman's, but it doesn't have engine exhausts, which I prefer for Star Trek impulse engines.

I'm working on Andorian and Tellarite shipsets, very hard, there is almost no material out there that I can find. I may have to get creative.

I'm planning a Tholian shipset and considering possibly a First Federation shipset.

What is the First Federation you ask? Remember Balok, that little bloke that used the image of a scary alien and threatened to destroy the Enterprise but it was just a test? Drinks Tranya? Looks like a baby?

Anyway their ships are very simple looking, I think I can easily come up with something. Here's a link to a pic of their flagship :-

I really like this set and the time period/idea behind it. For terran Empire make sure you use the TOS Defiant as the Capital ship...

Good thinking. And I could use Empress Hoshi Sato as the race image.

She's yummy in this episode.

What???? Thats from Enterprises final season and the ending of the two part mirror universe episodes: In a mirror darkly. Right after Empress Hoshi declares herself after poisoning almost emperor Archer. Frankly this 2 episode alternate universe jaunt are on my top 10 Star Trek episodes ever list.

Yea,I didn't like the way they ended it either.seemed it was left open for more but there were no takers on another season.

On a better note how is the Mod coming along...? :) No preasure here.....lol

Status: offline 		Well, it's very difficult finding Andorian ships, so I'm just using what I think is suitable. Just a couple more to do there.

Tellarites will be put on hold till later because it's very hard to find material.

Klingons, Romulans and Tholians should be no problem, a couple of hours work to do each.

Vulcans are done.

First Federation didn't appear until TOS, so I've cancelled that idea. Wait for the 'Early Kirk' Era Mod.

I think I'll wait until I've got; United Earth, Terran Empire, Klingon Empire, Romulan Star Empire, Tholian Assembly, Andorian Empire and Vulcan High Command before releasing the next update. I'm not doing dialogue yet because I found that to be extremely challenging. Maybe after it's finished I'll do it.

That leaves 2 shipsets undone (modders patch forthcoming), so one of them could be Tellarite and the other I have no idea yet.

Hopefully get this to you within the next 2 - 3 weeks, though this is subject to change if I'm busy elsewhere.
