I'm still afraid of getting arrested as spy. I've taken so many pictures of your military installations...

Dunno, I'm still struggling along with trying to make an Arakan scenario, then when I've got the hang of small scenarios and the AI it'll be on to Zipper.

The what-if that I've been thinking about recently had Trenchard dying in 1919, changing things for the Brits a bit. With some background it'd be an RAF that didn't become run by the Bomber Barons, changing several of the shortcomings in the early years, meaning a bigger TacAir focus. More TBs and maritime patrol a/c and more Army co-op squadrons. It'd still be crappy aircraft at the start mind, Lysanders, Blenheims and a few Battles. But tac aircraft would be brought forward a few years in development and strategic ones brought in later.

For the RN couple more cruisers (Exeter class) and the FAA returned to RN control sooner.


Sounds like just the sort of thing a gayboy crabhat would come up with. Iron Storm AE - that's what we want...

Naw....we don't worry about spy's here.....when I was still USN/USNR I had a collection of photo's of all the planes, ships and places that I wasn't supposed to take photo's of. Some are still classified.

In the USA you don't have to worry about being charged as a spy. You DO have to worry about the TSA,IRS and the US Postal Service! Those are the people watching you!

IRS... F'ing tax collectors are evil everywhere! At least they leave you something here in the US...


I thought about a mod where Dutch government was captured by German troops and the then leaderless DEI have given in to Japan, too - like French-Indochina.
This means the war starts with either an allied attack or a japanese preemptive strike.
- DEI is Japanese
- Japanese take over all dutch ships in the DEI and bring them into service after 180 to 360 days.
- British are stronger, Singapore either evacuated of all major forces or significantly strenghend
- The Philippines are strenghend, maybe by about 2 US Divisions and additional ships and planes...

Don't know when I'd have the time for that though...
