GFUs Euro History teacher last year was french. Apparently was a big hit with the girls.

Oh, geez. If Historiker reads this, he may cancel his flight back to Germany.

Is that good or bad?

Nope. Just the truth.

Somebody knows me somehow, now...

Horrible weather here. 13° C. 24h ago, it was 30°...

Bruce, Mike and Mynok, it was really nice meeting you three!

Same Here!

This one is for Chickenboy....

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest.

After a few seconds the vet shook his head and sadly said, "I'm sorry your duck, Cuddles, is dead".
The distressed woman cryed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead.", replied the vet.

"How can you be so sure?", she protested. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him at all. He might just be in a coma or something."

The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black labrador retriver. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.

The vet petted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped up on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck."

The vet turned to his computer, hit a few keys and produced a bill which he gave to the woman. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "$500 just to tell me my duck is dead!", she cried. The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the lab report and Cat scan it's now 500."

I'm sorry, but I misread 'limp duck' at first...

In between meetings tithe...

(I feel like I'm getting a swirlie with today's meetings. Up just long enough to sputter and catch my breath. Then right back into the toilet water. )

The 'lab report' and 'CAT' scan have been around the block in terms of veterinary diagnostic humor for some time. Thanks for the thought though.

Good morning - Tithe.

Mike, I'll have that data to you about mid-morning. Have considered the title for our AAR? Or our team names? As we are both Parrot heads , how about that? I'm not sure how you can put that against poultry molesters and martian malcontents, but I'm sure you'll find the way.

I'll work up something based on the Jimmy theme.

When PO'd Pirate parrots counter-attack (look out below!)

You might consider some of his lesser known songs for inspiration like "Sending the old man home" or "Take it back!". The last one was done for the America's cup challenge. Or, you might give each installment a "parrot-head theme" or a title
of one of his songs. Or a variation of it. Like "Why don't we get drunk, we're screwed?". "Changes of lattitude, changes in Altitude"

Why not "PO'd Pirate parrots pinches perfidous punks" ...

No problem.

Edit: Had problems coming up with some witty verb on 'p' ... hence 'pinches'

Went to pick up Clare's car from the garage post MOT test, sadly the car did not come home with me   Turns out they 'lost' the key...  Some (presumably dozy old) lady picked up Clare's car key as well as her own when she collected her car, although the key (strangely) didn't work for her car she thought it was because it'd been so long since she used it, even though she tried using it t the garage she didn't do anything sensible like make sure it was her key or ask why it didn't work (or why she had an extra bloody key theat she didn't bring with her)   Why do they let these people out?   I'm now scared that I'll actually come across this loon driving and she'll mistake my car for a bridge or something

I'm beginning to wish I'd taken the garage up on their offer of a courtesy car and gone for a drive to Glasgow

I sure don't know where, other than G6.  I'm useless.  Been semi-neglecting my intergalactic empire while playing HR lawyer.

Ooh! Nothing too terrible, I hope? It was Devonport, so my attack fleet and ACS fleet are on the way.
