wow, must be tanker killing time again... third in two days...  the number of freighters being attacked has gone down dramatically though, either my subs fail to engage them or the enemy is now taking routes I´m not aware of which would be more than surprising because most of my subs are stationed very close around Japan and there´s just no way to avoid them when going to the major ports big enough to unload all the needed capacity...

sent the Lightnings to deal with some Jacks, the new "advise" on the forum to go "lower" to negate the Sputnik sweeps obvioulsy is a very "good" advise... good only for me as the sweeper though, the Jacks were shot to pieces by the diving P-38... the only advise I can give is NUMBERS, if you have enough fighters in the air, the usually lower number of sweeping fighters at some point runs out of the dive, but that usually is at a stage most of your squadrons were shredded already...

the two main parts of our single squadron sweeps didn´t face as many enemies as the two combined fragments that go in following the main strikes (as usual? )... can´t say our six Lightnings did bad but ran out of the dive pretty fast, ending in a fierce fight with most of our Lightnings damaged... result were two of them lost to damage on their way home... the total result of today´s engagements were excellent again though...

same as above, the funny "coordination" feature thinks that also out of Burma, each of the two squadrons should "lose" three of their fighters which then join to go in as a six ac strike pack... one of them was shot down over the target, dive lasted only for seconds...
I can only repeat myselve while saying that it is totally ridicoulos that squadrons always seem to lose 2 or 3 fighters on their way to target that then join to fly together... this is consistent... consistently stupid...

the only good thing is that my troops are sitting in jungle hexes, they would get trashed in clear hexes with a hardcoded IJAAF clear sky attack every day... 
Having a fair chance to make it back home... If subs aren´t sunk immediately, they´re going to make it home most of the time, I´ve already had subs with 90 flt damage being able to return to their homeport several times, amazing considering the distance being 100+ hexes most often... 
but there´s not going to be a change so hey ho.
