1935, september Poland is trying to resist. The Polish field army, or what that is left of it, tried to make a valiant stand near the River Bug. After some initial bombings, their 7th division, which included tanks, was beaten back by units from the Soviet 3rd Army. The Cavalry division that was spotted last turn, remained in place guarding a vital river crossing as well. It too was bombed, and then attack, this time by units of the 1st Red Army, again successfully. In fact there were no setbacks at all. In the south the 2nd Red Army cleared the few survivers from the units that had been stationed in Lvov, and the Soviet "Long Range" bombers once again bombed Warsaw. However, things are perhaps not all that they seem to be, initially. Germany too has declared war on Poland, and has connected East Prussia with mainland Germany, and also seized a few key crossing points along the River Oder.
