Greetings from Alexandria Virginia!  Tithe....
With luck on the road home tomorrow, and ready to return turns by Saturday!

How's the trip going?

So far so good. Got my neice married off, brought my stuff from Maine to Alexandria (Including Shipyard and Gearys beer, Churchill port and assorted potables...oh yeah , I managed some furniture too! )

In about 15 minutes my big rental truck should be ready (my only snag so far , they screwed up the date and it wasn't ready this morning). Then I spend the day loading, close out my storage garage (and load Dog fish beer and wine ) and tomorrow morning ditch the rental car and start back to Nebraska. I'm calling this leg of the trip "The bootlegger express!".

You may want to drop USS Henrico a quick PM. I think he's in Alexandria, IIRC. Ready to return turns on Saturday? That will make one of us...

Post-gym tithe... The bench press there has a minimum weight setting of 10 pounds; can anybody help me figure out who or what that's for?

Physical therapy / rehab patients or people with joint or tendon issues that can barely extend their arms in that fashion, let alone push weight resistance.

Yeah I agree, probably physical therapy to build back the body. I been down that road and Physical therapy was never fun.

I was reading the comments about the story and somebody said he first thought that Ireland was hunting down escaped monks.

Similar thing happened while I was living in Rochester, MN. Peta broke into a mink farm and set loose a couple thousand of them. About 75% of the poor minks ended up getting killed by cars.

Is there such a thing in Germany?

During one of the recent Colbert Report episodes, one dedicated to troops returning from Iraq, he had Joe Biden serve hot dogs to an all-military audience. This drew an outcry from PETA that they should have been veggie dogs instead. During the next episode Colbert suggested that the name should be changed to People for the Unamerican Treatment of Animals...a name that servicemen and women of a Latin background could surely agree with.

I did read that it is going to be a hex based map this time. I'll probably pick it up somewhere down the road - if they release it on disc.

If? It was released on disc last Thursday.

The game is moderately interesting, but has some technical flaws that detract from the experience. Seems to have a couple of memory leaks, and the keyboard hotkeys seem to not always work properly.
