Hello,

I'm looking for data on Soviet era overseas bases during the cold war for a research project that I'm conducting. The scope is from 1945 to the present day with emphasis between 1950 and 1990. Any OrBat data would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I assume you mean outside of the former USSR and its Warsaw Pact allies.

Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam, Conakry in Guinea, and the Dahlak archipelago in Eritrea all come to mind, for starters.

Dont forget the "anchorages" that Russia maintained in the Med, I used one off Libya in "Sollum" and I think there was one off Syria as well. These we in International waters and more or less permanent.
